Our Faith in Action
We are called to share our experiences of faith with others; bearing witness to the love of Christ and becoming missionary disciples. Let us not limit ourselves to theoretical knowledge along, but live our faith in concrete ways: experiencing God's love in our daily lives.
(Pope Leo XIV)
As a school community, we are committed to living out our Catholic Social Teaching, especially the call to solidarity and the option for the poor and vulnerable. We encourage our pupils to put their faith into action through meaningful acts of service that support those in need both within and beyond our school. This academic year, we have taken part in a range of initiatives that reflect our shared responsibility to care for others and to make a positive difference in the world around us.
Year 6 raise money for Macmillian Cancer (September 2025)
In September 2025, our Year 6 pupils hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Oratory for our local community and children across the school, raising over £200 for this worthy cause.

Harvest Festival Collection (October 2025)
As part of our Harvest Festival collection, and in recognition of Laudato Si’ Day, we supported a local food bank by coming to school in our own clothes and raising funds through the donation of a food item brought from home. This donation was provided to St. Chad's Sanctuary.

Birmingham Rudolph Run (December 2025)
In December, we raised money for Birmingham Hospice by taking part in the annual Rudolph Run. Our Reception and Year 1 children completed a festive walk around the perimeter of the school, while Year 2 and KS2 continued the tradition with a longer walk around Edgbaston Reservoir, joined by their families and members of our wider community. As we walked, we sang Christmas carols, bringing smiles to those we passed and spreading Christmas cheer throughout the local area. Through this event, we raised just over £150 in support of Birmingham Hospice.
